ATTORNEY AT LAW | ABOGADA
COVID Policy
The Law Office of Vanessa Frank has adopted new policies regarding its COVID-19 safety practices and measures. To ensure the safety and health of our clients, staff, and household members, we have updated our office to comply with social distancing requirements. We encourage clients to conduct business with the office through phones, emails, video-chat services, and other virtual means and media. In circumstances of mandatory face-to-face contact, we ask our clients to comply with the following:
-
Wear protective face covering over nose and mouth during the duration of the office visit.
-
Call from outside the office building until a staff member allows entrance.
-
At the door, the staff person will take the client's temperature with an infrared thermometer.
-
Clients must orally certify that they do not currently present any symptom associated with COVID-19.
-
-
Remain in the Lobby area while documents are being reviewed and/or prepared.
-
Slide documents under the door when possible to avoid direct sharing of physical space.
Masks will be worn by both staff and clients for the entire duration of the meeting. The following criteria are for acceptable materials, options, and conditions for face coverings:
-
Must be cotton, silk, or linen.
-
This includes bandanas, neck gaiters, homemade face coverings, scarfs, and tightly woven fabric.
-
-
Must cover the person's nose and mouth.
-
Must not have any holes, tears, or other damages to the fabric, ties, or straps.
-
Must not cause obstruction to employee's vision.
We thank you for your patience and understanding. Together we are a community and together we can get through this.
Social distancing is very important during this time. We are doing this to protect not only the health of ourselves but the health of those around us-- our grandparents, children, neighbors, friends, and community members.
We will get through this together, we are one community, all together, and we are all going through this together. Have patience, enjoy your family time as you can and know that our office is on your side.
IMPORTANT regarding USCIS and EOIR:
both are reopened at a reduced capacity, with many cases being rescheduled. DO NOT miss your rescheduled appointment— if you have a pending case call the office to confirm your appointment
