On Thursday, a federal judge agreed with colleagues of President-elect Trump to end the parole program for spouses and stepchildren of citizens, known as "Keeping Families Together." It is not yet clear whether President Biden will appeal the decision, but time is short to win a case before Trump becomes President in January. For those who have already submitted their applications, we will continue to monitor this case. This case was won because Texas and 16 other states argued that allowing people to apply for their Green Cards inside the United States (instead of traveling to the Consulate in their countries to do so) would hurt the economy of those states. This nonsense is why it's always important to be informed and make sure people vote - President Trump will now be able to appoint more judges who will not think outside of their partisan lines.
